Today, if you can get many and more powerful backlinks from relevant contents to your site or pages, mostly the better for your site to get the better rank on search engines as well.
But, surely that getting backlinks from other authority site or page with high Domain Authority (DA) is not a cup of cake. You will struggling in getting them. Even if you will get many of them in a fast way, then you may need to pay some money.
No matter how good your site is along with their contents that you think are better than the others in the whole of internet, your page might be beaten by those with thin contents. Sounds familiar?
Many have believed that writing more words on each articles you are going to publish may help your articles get the better rank on Google. While it is true, but have you been realized that you may have been visited sites with short and thin contents and they are still on the first page of Google?
One of the reason why is that happening is because those posts may have got backlinks from the other sites with relevant contents. Not to mention that the DA of those sites can also be more than 30 out of 100 as well.
The interesting part is that, even if your post have no backlink at all, it may be found on the first page of Google as well. But, chance for you to experience that is barely zero percent and the page may only be there for one or two days or can't be last for longer.
If you think that most of the backlinks will be targeted your homepage, that will be great for new or old site that have not been optimized before through link building (small amount of backlinks).

It is better if you don't build a fresh new blog domains that have never been registered before since you are going to add more problems in your life in increasing their DA.
So, you'd better find the deleted sites with quality backlinks and finding the sub-domain blogs such as Blogspot and Tumblr still be my favorite.
On above, I keep on talking about the relevant contents as your main backlink resources, and the best place to get them are to contribute on online community.
I am even joined some Facebook pages or groups that are relevant to my blog's topic and start making friends with the others.
Doing that is not only giving you a chance to share and find information about the topic you are interesting in, but also knowing many bloggers that are blogging the same insights with you.
So, when they are knowing you through many interactions and contributions you have gave on community or forum, sometimes they will also write on their blogs and giving you backlinks you need without you realize about that.
If not, you will at least have a chance to ask them for that and their acceptance rate is highly satisfying since they have been knowing you for some times.
Many people are keep on telling us that putting at least an image on our post will also helping us to compete on Google Images and there can be other bloggers will also use your image on their posts as well and giving you the proper credit for that.
That's true.
But, you are also have another one reason why doing that. I have found so many image-based sites that are taking my images from my blog posts and many of them are giving me backlinks in the credit section or putting the source link inside the image itself.
Many bloggers are calling this type of backlink as the Image URL's backlink or something like that.
So, images will not only a chance to break your paragraph in your posts, but have been proven as a way to get backlinks for your posts or site as well.
Social media like Facebook, Twitter, etc are good place to find visitors. And among them, you may find one or two bloggers who know about your posts and willing to make them as their reference.
I do also create an account on Reddit and some of my blog posts have been shared in there since many of them are indexed in just an hour or even some minutes.
All I need to say is that, any sites that are allowing you to create an account and share your post links are useful to make a different type of backlinks for your posts. So, in case you are thinking about building your blog but have no idea what to do or write, then simply spending your time on visiting social media, forum, bookmark sites, etc to share your links.
It is also better if you will need to make a certain schedule for doing that.
