The beneficial of getting the keyword idea for your backlink is that to target the exact keyword match as your backlink's anchor text as well as the relevant anchor text. For example, you are targeting to rank on Google to a keyword like "digital marketing agency," then the anchor texts can be:
The last 3 anchor texts on above are similar or synonym to your main targeted keyword. So, you will not only rank on one keyword, but also the others since people are also using various of keyword for the same service you are providing.
The more various the anchor text, will also be the better for your site or targeted URL.
Assume that you been read about an article before that was informing about how to increase the work productivity. In one paragraph, say that it gave you an analogy that your productivity should be as the most last longer battery in the world.
It doesn't matter whether the analogy will be mean that your energy can be charged faster or stay longer than the the others. The point is, you are as strong as that battery.
Then, the article is putting the hyperlink to the battery page on another site as the backlink for that site anchored with the brand name of the battery.
If you are getting the same backlink as that, it still works fine for your site. Moreover, think about if the article itself will be visited by many visitors, then you will also get a chance to get visitors from that site.
So, building backlinks to your site don't always need to be anchored with exact and relevant or similar keyword. Remember, the more various of them, the better.
