How to Resize Image Online and Keep the Quality at Its Best

If you are building a blog, you know that images have the important roles as part of your visual communication, the "ice breaker" of your boring paragraph and so on.

Unfortunately, to show the original images along with their original sizes will be a problem; your page will becoming slower and your hosting capacity will be reduced immediately. You don't want that happen, do you?

But surely that resizing images is not only for bloggers or site owners. Some of us are also sending photos to our friends and family through email address. And when you are doing it using gmail, you have been limited for only possible to send up to 25 megabyte of file size.

I am sure that there are also many other alternatives you can deal with the issue. You can choose to upload the images to your online file storage like Google Drive and then share a link.

But in case you are choosing to resize the images online so you can reduce the capacity significantly without losing capacity, I recommending you to use an online Photoshop alternative as I did.

Best online Photoshop alternative to resize image online

I think I don't need to tell you how powerful Photoshop is. It can helps us to do many things and will also helpful in reducing the image capacity.

The thing is, base on my own experiences where I believe that many users are also experiencing the same, we aren't happy with the end result.

You may get the small size of images, but you will mostly lost their quality as well. If not, even if you are happy with the resized images, big chance that you still have more than 100 kb of each images. We are still got the problem.

Therefore, here what I have found to get rid of all the issues: I am using an online alternative where the site is somehow similar to the Photoshop's user interface design.

The site I am talking about is: FreePhotoTool.com.

Haven't heard of it? You'd better check it out right now. But before you do that, here's the simple steps of how I resize the images online in just a minute or two:
  1. Load the image you want to change its size on FreePhotoTool.com by choosing File - Open.
  2. If there won't be any changes to the image and you want to directly resize it, then simply choose File - Export as to save the image.
While you are at the step 2 above, the dialog box will be appeared showing you about the Save For Web option.

There, you can freely choose the dimension as well as the quality while seeing the preview of the image result. Just play with them by make your own settings on it.

Doing this way is allow me to get the high quality images where many of them before have around 1 MB or 10 MB of each images to not more than 50 kb and even though you will get around 100 kb of each images, the results are best for me than using the Photoshop itself.

All I want to say are the site is not only easy to use to reduce and resize images but it is also has the great image compression tool to helps us getting the images as we need.

Get Images From Pixabay Without reCAPTCHA

When we are going to get an image from Pixabay, the chosen image resolution may causing the site to show the reCAPTCHA pop-up box to verify that we are a human and not the robots. The site itself is offering users the 4 different image size and capacity (different resolution). The first resolution is the lowest and we can get the image right away when hitting the download button. Meanwhile for the second and third resolution, base on my experience, almost 100% the reCAPTCHA box will be displayed and we should getting through the process before start downloading. Different with the last option which is the highest image resolution, we will have to login to the site to get it.
